Choose for your workday
StopBurnout is built for Windows users who keep working through reminders. If you need free customization, app blocking or detailed time reports, another tool may suit you better.
We make StopBurnout. Each comparison explains where it helps, where the other product wins and which sources support the claims. The new Freedom, RescueTime and Cold Turkey comparisons were reviewed September 11, 2026; older guides carry their own review dates.

What you get with StopBurnout
A configurable active-work timer, recovery credit for time away, three protection levels, overlays on every monitor and local work/break history. The full trial lasts 14 days; a one-time license covers two Windows machines. Activation needs internet access. Task Manager can still end the app.
Try the boundary before buying the license.
Use all three modes for 14 days. Check that the timer, your monitors and the break routine fit your real workday. If they do, one payment unlocks continued use on up to two Windows machines.
